About Us

In 2010 WorkComp Strategies LLC was formed to serve the needs of workers' compensation clients in the public and private sectors. Our consultants provide project-management and business-analysis services to public- and private-sector clients, with continued emphasis on the workers' compensation industry. The company grew in 2016, as WorkComp Strategies of Illinois, Inc. was formed to provide expanded services throughout the United States.



Matt Bryant, principal owner of WorkComp Strategies, has over twenty-five years of professional experience, with a focus on project management, process analysis and re-design, and strategic planning. He was a staff attorney and administrator with the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission for several years, is active with several professional boards and committees, and has served as chair of the Associate Member Council of the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions. Matt is a licensed attorney and a PMI-certified project management professional.


Greg Krohm, PhD, CPCU, ARM, has been actively involved in the field of workers' compensation for over thirty years. Greg serves as the Director of Research for WorkComp Strategies, guiding the firm's data and analytics program. He served as director of the Wisconsin Division of Workers' Compensation and executive director of the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions. A well respected author and speaker, Greg has a PhD in Economics and holds the CPCU and ARM insurance designations.

 


Fran Davis, Senior Business Analyst, has over 14 years of experience in workers’ compensation with the Kentucky Department of Workers’ Claims. She served as Division Director of Information and Research for seven years with a primary focus on data extraction and analysis. Fran also served as project manager for Kentucky’s online claims management system and was key in developing annual reports and publication of the Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Guidebook. Additionally, Fran served four years on the IAIABC EDI Council, and held positions as the Claims Committee Vice Chair and served on the Implementation Team, responsible for migration of data among EDI releases.
